Acres Machinery is a young dynamic, hard working Irish engineering company with a commitment to developing new ways and creating new equipment in order to reduce operational costs to you the customer through constant innovation and design of the highest quality machinery in the agricultural sector. At present we manufacture agricultural crop conditioners including the new innovative Super Crop 1 crop conditioner.

The company is based at Acres, Athlone Road, Roscommon in the West of Ireland. The machines are designed by company director David Doran, a mechanical fitter and designer by trade. Both David and his brother Tommy, known as “Doranbros” have been heavily involved in all types of machinery from very young ages through their hire, sales and contracting business’s in both the construction and agricultural sectors.

The Doran family themselves have been farming at ‘Acres’ Roscommon since the mid 1800’s, a family which has a strong tradition in agriculture dating back to the 19th Century gives this new generation, young energetic engineering company, a very strong background and understanding of what farmers and contractors are faced with in today’s environment, something that cannot be bought. “Research comes from knowledge and knowledge comes from experience, development is the result”
